Summary:
ptscotch produces staggering patterns at processor interfaces

Detailed description
Hi Francois,

not a very accurate bug report but ptscotch occasionally produces a static mapping with a very bad 'edge cut'. The overall decomposition is ok but at some locations it gets really bad (see attached picture of a single domain).

I have not checked recently. If I come across it again I'll let you know.

By the way, has this been fixed by recent releases of Scotch ? :-)

Dear Mattijs,
Can you check whether you experience the same behavior with the newer 6.0.5 ?
Several fixes may have contributed to solve the issue. Though, I want to be sure in your environment.
Best regards,
f.p.
