RWC Pop Chord Sequences - This is a dataset of chord sequences annotation for the RWC Pop Dataset. The chord sequences contain 1 chord, reduced to major/minor triads, for each beat of the pieces. 3 sequences are available for each piece : - The first (auto) was automatically generated by cross-referencing timestamped annotations from NYU (Taemin Cho: https://github.com/tmc323/Chord-Annotations) and the beat timing from the RWC dataset. - The second (corr) is a manual correction of the first focussed on fixing the errors introduced by the automatic cross-referencing. - The third (manual) is a further manual correction with particular care applied to maintaining consistency across repetitions within a piece.
