RE: Multiple right hand sides in parallel [ Reply ]

I think that I had noticed this difficulty in the version 5.2.2 of Pastix since I had commented the test about multiple right hand sides for the distributed version of Pastix. Recently, I saw that a new version was proposed, so I tried to see if this new version passed the test.

Thank you Marc for this bug report.
You just need to enable the MULT_SMX flag during the compilation.
We will investigate the problem, can you tell us is the functionality was working with the previous release of PaStiX 5.2.2 ?
Regards,
Pierre.

Multiple right hand sides in parallel [ Reply ]

Hi,
I have observed that a segmentation fault occurs when I try to solve a distributed system with multiple right hand sides. It works fine, if I call pastix for each right hand side (by indicating rhs = 1), it works fine also if I call it on a sequential matrix (with only one processor). I have enabled the flag -DMULT_SMX during the compiltation, I am using the last version of Pastix (5.2.3). I have disabled the refinement step (I have only a solve step).
Is there something special to do to enable this functionality ?
Best regards.
