Hello, The CSC Matrix given to PaStiX must be distributed following the rows of the Matrix. So you need to have each column to appear once and only once in the loc2globs array. If your matrix is symmetric the distributed CSC is equal to the distributed CSR. Otherwise, a version of the solve step performing the resolution of the transposed problem ( A^tX=B ) is currently in development and will be available in next release. This could be used to solve a distributed CSR problem. Have a nice day, XL. |

Dear Pastic Developers, I would like to use the distibuted input in Pastic however, my matrix is given row wise, i.e. on every process I have available the complete row. Now, I realize Pastix needs the distributed matrix column wise. Do I have to insert a complete colum on one process or can I insert into the global column from different processes ? Thanks, Benedikt |
